Parent Teacher Organization

On behalf of the Blue Springs' PTO, we would like to welcome all of our new and returning families to Blue Springs Elementary.  We are definitely looking forward to another amazing school year. 

Blue Springs' PTO was established in order to help support our school.  I am proud to say that the PTO is already working hard to do just that.  We are able to financially support the school because of the many fundraisers we hold throughout the school year.  Some of those fundraisers for this year will include:

  1. Fall Festival

  2. Pumpkin Contest

  3. Spring Auction

  4. Family Fun Nights with Bingo and a movie

We hope you can be a part of all of these supportive and fun fundraisers.

With our fundraising from the previous year, we were able to provide many things for our teachers.  One major goal that was accomplished was the new magnetic white boards and listening centers for every classroom.  This year, we will be providing the teachers with United Streaming, which is software from the Discovery channel that enhances the curriculum.  Another goal for this year is to provide enough funding for classroom rugs for grades K-2.

PTO Membership Drive is underway.  The membership fee is only $5.00 per family.  The classes with the greatest percentage of participation will celebrate with a party.  When you join the PTO, you will receive regular emails that will keep you informed of what is happening on the school campus, upcoming PTO events, and other exciting news.  You can also use your PTO membership card for a discount at many of our fundraisers.
